Merav Salomon מירב סלומון A graduate of the Graphic Design department at the Bezalel Academy of Art & Design, in Jerusalem. Merav started her illustration career in New York City in 1993. During her stay there her works were published by well-known newspapers and Magazines (The New York Times, New York Magazine, The Village Voice and MacWorld, among others) , Book publishers, Design Firms and screen based illustration for web sites. Merav returned to Israel in late 1996 and since then has been illustrating in the areas of Editorials (Yediott Aharonot, Maariv, Globes, Horim Veyeladim magazine, At Magazine, Hed Hachinuch Magazine and more), Institutional (Bezek, IDF, Weizzmann Institute, Alma College, Evergrow organization and more) and Picture Books for children and adults (published by Kinneret, Am-Oved and Keter). In addition to Illustrating Merav also teaches Illustration at the Bezalel Academy of Art & Design in Jerusalem and in Shenkar College in Ramat-Gan. Merav lives and works in Tel-Aviv.
